High-density standalone OLT in 1U pizza box format — 10G symmetric PON with XG-PON and GPON dual-mode for carrier networks, FTTx and enterprise.
U10 packs high-density XGS-PON into a 1U standalone unit — easy to install, easy to commission, and ready for multi-vendor networks.
Each of the 8 PON ports runs XG(S)-PON by default (XGS-PON 10G/10G, XG-PON 10G/2.5G) and can be hot-switched to GPON mode individually — upgrade or reuse existing fiber without hardware swaps.
1×GE (RJ45) + 4×25GE (SFP28) + 2×100GE (QSFP28) uplinks on a 1,960 Gbps backplane with 566.9 Mpps forwarding — no bottleneck at the aggregation layer.
32K MAC, 4K VLANs, QinQ, LACP, QoS, IGMP snooping, DHCP server/relay, static + OSPF/RIP routing, T-CONT DBA and x-GEM — the full carrier feature stack in a pizza box.
6 kV power and 4 kV interface lightning protection, −20°C to +60°C operating range, 4-fan cooling, and AC 100–240 V power — built for central offices and remote sites.
The full front-panel layout — PON, uplinks, management and indicators at a glance.
Three reference topologies — each built from UGrid products that work together end to end.
U10 feeds 1:256-split PON trees to UGrid XGS-PON or GPON ONTs. Dual-mode ports let you mix both on the same chassis during migration.
U10 aggregates FiberTrix GPON PoE switches — fiber to the floor, PoE to APs and cameras, all managed from one OLT.
Pair with the uFT intelligent fiber testing system — real-time OTDR fault detection plus AI degradation forecasting on the same outside plant.
