A standard SFP+ package ONT that extends 10G PON deployment into existing access networks — a seamless replacement for the Ethernet SFP+ module in gateways, switches, routers and backhaul equipment, with a full XGS-PON MAC and a standards-compliant OMCI stack.
Built to extend 10G PON deployment for business and residential users — without replacing existing Ethernet equipment.
The standard SFP+ package drops into the SFP+ cage of existing Ethernet gateways, switches, routers and backhaul equipment. The host keeps its hardware, software and user experience — the stick adds a full XGS-PON network side.
An integrated XGS-PON MAC and a standards-compliant OMCI stack (ITU-T G.988) deliver full FCAPS management: supervision, monitoring and maintenance. Software images download remotely over OMCI, with two software sets, image integrity checking and automatic rollback.
802.1D bridging with an 802.1Q virtual switch: VLAN tagging and detagging, Q-in-Q stacking and VLAN translation. Class of service is based on VLAN-ID, 802.1p bit and ToS/DSCP — with marking and remarking of 802.1p, IP ToS/DSCP to 802.1p mapping, hardware priority queues downstream, and broadcast / multicast rate limiting.
Operates from −40 °C to +85 °C and draws less than 2.1 W at full speed at room temperature — sized for uncontrolled environments where a fanless, low-heat ONT matters, from street cabinets to CPE enclosures.
One end speaks PON to the network; the other speaks XFI to the host. Everything between is the ONT.
Deployment use cases from the datasheet — 10G PON extension over existing gateways, business and residential fiber access, switch and router PON uplinks, wireless backhaul, and remote supervision.
Residential and business gateways with an SFP+ cage gain a 10G XGS-PON uplink by swapping one module — no truck roll for a new ONT box, no change to the in-home setup.
Aggregation switches and routers take their uplink straight from the PON — the stick replaces a standalone ONT and a patch cord with a single pluggable.
Backhaul equipment with an SFP+ port rides the same PON plant. The −40 to +85 °C operating range and sub-2.1 W draw fit outdoor cabinets and pole-top enclosures.

The UNT-XG-SFP is standards-based — ITU-T G.9807.1 (XGS-PON) with a G.988 OMCI stack — and is built for high interoperability with mainstream branded OLTs in carrier deployment scenarios. On the host side, it is compatible with mainstream routers, switches and gateways equipped with a standard SFP+ port.
Everything engineers and procurement need — one click away.
Both sticks share the same idea — the ONT lives in the host's SFP cage. The choice is the PON generation.
